Painting a Landscape is not what makes a good artist, it’s taking what I know, and being able to teach that to a student with,“No Experience“ within just a few hours and thus coming out with a finished painting that looks like a work of art and something they can be proud of.

As the only certified Bob Ross paint instructor in Ottawa, I am able to teach my clients the very same method of painting that the great Bob Ross himself used throughout the 357 episodes on the famous PBS show, “The Joy of Painting.”

My instructing method is very similar to Bob's own — I remain calm and collected throughout the entire process for a comfortable and relaxing painting session, and most of all, we have fun doing it! 😁

Following Bob Ross' own style, I teach Alla Prima, which is also known as wet-on-wet painting. This painting method allows for a full, completed painting in just a few hours.

To start off, I encourage the class to follow along with me as I instruct them, “Step by Step” and offer my individual attention and assistance to students throughout the process.

I have listed the most common questions I receive about my classes, as well as their answers, below:

• Do you teach online classes? Yes, For more information, Please refer to my costs page or contact me.
• Do your classes have an age limit? Participants must be 12+ years of age to participate in the painting lessons.
• What if I don't have painting experience? As a certified Bob Ross instructor, almost all of the students i teach have, "no experience" what so ever! but learn to paint like Bob Ross in just hours.
• Should I bring anything?  No, the price includes everything! but don’t forget your water bottle and paint cloths, you can even bring a pen and notepad if you want to take down some pointers, (Optional) everything else will be provided for you.
• What about prices? Prices stated are based on Group Lessons (Per person at my Studio) I also offer Private Lessons. Prices will vary depending on size of canvas, location (If not in my Studio), and number of students etc.
• Am I able to come to your location to teach? Yes, I am fully mobile, depending on exactly where your located? The only thing you need to supply is the room, tables, and chairs. (Keep in mind, price varies based on, travel, location, size of canvas, and number of students, etc.
• How many students can you teach at once? I can teach up to 5 students at my studio,  up to 10 outside my studio, depending on the establishment, ie, room, tables, chairs etc, and up to 100 people for my, "Online Classes".
• How long does it take to complete a painting class? This depends on many factors like, what size of canvas you choose, the number of students, and the assistance that may be required throughout the lesson, but as a general guideline, the 12 x 16 sized canvas usually runs around 5+ hours, and the 16 x 20, 7+ hours. Remember these are only guidelines, times may vary either way.
